Basildon District Regeneration Framework

Basildon is changing....

Basildon District Council and the Basildon Renaissance Partnership are determined to ensure that Basildon benefits from future economic opportunities that are being created in the area.  To achieve this, large parts of the District will undergo major transformation over the next 15 to 20 years.

A comprehensive regeneration programme (Regeneration Framework) has been devised that will improve the quality of life for residents in the District and create major new opportunities.  It centres on physical regeneration, but it will also integrate with social and community regeneration initiatives in areas such as education, environment, health, and community safety.
