Basildon Business Group

Basildon Council and Basildon Renaissance are committed to improving relationships with local businesses, improve networking opportunities, and continue to encourage business retention, inward investment and the promotion of the District as a great place to live, work and invest.

The Basildon Business Group (BBG) was set up by a number of leading business people in the District in 2006 and is now growing and getting stronger!  A lot of background work has been done with local businesses and partner to identify their needs and key issues to address.  We are now looking to expand the BBG and have also set up three support groups focusing on:

• Recruitment and Skills
• Business Support and Innovation;
• Business Retention and Inward Investment

The Council and BRP is now working more efficiently together and improving relationships across the business community.  The suppport groups are the main working arms of a renewed and enhanced Basildon Business Group, under the able Chairmanship of Paul Rolison of Yellowspring PLC.

The administration of these Groups and the over-arching development of the Basildon Business Group, is by a Council and Basildon Renaissance resource. Action is now being taken, and we are not a talking shop!
