The approved master plan for Wickford town centre is already delivering benefits for this busy commuter town. The master plan has already encouraged new investment into the town. Valued at £110million, proposals indicate the potential for:
- A new gateway to town
- 650 new jobs
- Over 500 new homes
- 2,600 square metres of retail
- 1,000 square metres of mixed commercial
- New public squares and public service centre
